How To Make Pink Work In The Bedroom

If you love pink and want to create a pink bedroom, this post is for you. Many people shy away from pink because it’s a bold color that doesn’t always work with other color palettes in the home.

Luckily, when used correctly, pink can be a wonderful addition to a neutrally designed home. Try the tips below to create a chic pink room that fits with the décor of the rest in your home.

Unique artwork can add a touch of pink without going overboard. Look for soft impressionist vibes or silhouettes – anything that’s black and white with a touch of soft pink will look fantastic.

Sconces Above The Bed

Lighting is important in any room, so add a couple of white or gold sconces on either side of the bed for soft reading and/or mood lighting. If you’re not keen on the idea of wired sconces, look online for hacks to hang wireless sconces instead

The Nightstand(s)

Keep your nightstand(s) simple. Think coffee table décor such as a vase of flowers, a couple of books, and a candle. Feel free to add touches of pink here and there to keep with a cohesive look throughout the room.

This is where you can really make your love of pink known. Start with a bright white comforter. This will be the perfect backdrop for lots of throw pillows in varying sizes and shades of blush pink, champagne, and light tan.

Pink Ottoman

To finish the room with a pop of color, add a pink print ottoman at the foot of the bed. This can be anything from an animal print to a geometric print, but make sure the shade of pink is soft and light, so it doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb in the delicate ambiance of the rest of the space.

There you have it. Using pink in a bedroom doesn’t have to be intimidating or overwhelming. Simply stick with soft shades and pair them with neutrals to create a soft, chic look that invites you to step inside.
